Sitting on the shores of Lake Erie, nestled in the natural bay between Long Point and Turkey Point, we are the perfect location for recreational boating and fishing and swimming. Our waterfront sites overlook the vast great lake and the prevailing SouthWesterly winds create safe conditions for our boaters. We are located in one of the best fishing spots in Ontario, with populations of bass, pike, perch, crappie, and carp among many others. Our park offers seasonal campsites, boat houses and boat docks. The season runs from May 1-Oct 31.
The activities don’t stop once you are on land! Hikers can trek the three trails at nearby Turkey Point Provincial Park, while mountain bikers have 75km of the Turkey Point Mountain Bike Trails to explore. Long Point Provincial Park is just 30 minutes away and is one of the top bird watching destinations in North America, while Big Creek National Wildlife Area is only 20 minutes away where you can hike the marsh trails and view many wetland species.
If you are a foodie or wine enthusiast, Ontario’s Southwest Coast has a rapidly evolving wine, beer and farm-to-table scene. Home to some of Ontario’s most fertile farmlands and sharing a latitude and similar temperature with central Italy and Northern California, you can now experience the self-guided “Toast the Coast” tour.
We can’t wait for you to visit us on the coast and experience everything the area has to offer.
